First, I want you to start with identifying your WHY. This is an important step to figure out so that you set yourself up for success, stay on track and remember your purpose/reason for starting this process in the first place.
If you start to feel overwhelmed, stop and take a minute. Do some deep breathing, go for a walk or dance around your room, but try not to beat yourself up or throw in the towel. Try not to do too much too fast. Small steps in the right direction go a long way, because remember doing even a little bit is one step further than you where you were previously! Remind yourself why you are doing this. Remember that this process is not a fad, trend or sprint that you are partaking in. This is the beginning of a lifestyle change and you are actively taking charge of the energy connected to the items hanging in your closet, folded in your drawers and sitting in your wardrobe.
