How To Style Corduroy on Corduroy

Yes, my obsession with corduroy continues, but I just love how this type of texture can subtly add something extra to an otherwise fairly simple outfit. In my opinion, the key to pairing these two types of fabric together is to mix and match the different wales. For example, with the outfit I am wearing here, the cream colored flares are a super fine wale and the shacket (or shirt jacket) has a thicker, more plush look to it. I like playing with subtle contrasts like this and although it’s fairly understated, you can really see the nice contrast up close.
