Note on candy wrappers: I will never forget when I first heard this quote by Jenna Lyons, referring to an overcoat: “It’s your finishing touch, your very own candy wrapper.” I love it so much because it means, by simply slipping on a standout coat, whether it be bright in color, perfectly tailored or polished and structured, it can instantly transform an otherwise fairly plain outfit into something that effortlessly stands out. Genius!
